This year’s 16 Days of Action campaign will shine a light on domestic abuse and the support available.
The Violence Against Women Partnership (VAWP) will again be supporting the White Ribbon initiative which promotes an end to Violence Against Women and directly addresses men – so they understand the scale of the problem and become part of the solution.
Like last year, much of this year’s 16 days will involve a series of online videos and messages highlighting the issue and signposting people to avenues of help and support. To follow the campaign, check out the new VAWP’s twitter @NorthAVAWP
The campaign will include the annual ‘Reclaim the Night’ walk on Tuesday 6 December. The walk will leave from the Harbour Arts Centre (HAC), Irvine at 5.15pm and will end at Irvine’s Townhouse with a short film, tea, and coffee.
