Charity fundraiser show your support

A message from our colleague, Training Officer Jamie-Leigh Dickson who would be grateful for your support ahead of her upcoming hillwalking challenge in memory of her late sister-in-law…

Make your donation ahead of Jamie-Leigh and Daniel’s hill walking challenge (see them pictured on a recent expedition) via the Just Giving website. Their fundraising target is £1,000 and the courageous duo are already just shy of £800, so let’s do our part to support them if we can!

Jamie-Leigh shares: “Me and my fiancé Daniel will be taking on 3 peaks challenge on Thursday 28 August to raise money for Willow which is a charity close to our hearts.

“Sadly my sister-in-law Kirsty lost her battle with cancer, Willow created a special day and lasting memories for Kirsty. Willow do this for seriously ill young adults aged 16 to 40 with life threatening conditions. I’d be really grateful for any donation – no matter how small.

“Every bit helps them to give comfort, joy, and unforgettable experiences to those going through incredibly tough times. Thank you for your support.”

Willow is the only UK charity supporting seriously ill 16 to 40 year olds by providing unique and positive Special Days. Since 1999 Willow has fulfilled more than 22,000 Special Days for young adults living with life-threatening conditions such as cancer, motor neurone disease and cystic fibrosis.
