Works will soon be starting at Cunninghame House ground floor east to create the new customer service centre, as part of the council’s broader property rationalisation programme. Works will begin on Monday 8 December and staff should be aware of the following:
From Monday 8 December until the scheduled completion date of March 2026, the Irvine and Kilwinning committee room, Three Towns Committee Room, and the small interview rooms will be unavailable on the Ground Floor.
Located on the 4th Floor West:
- The new Irvine & Kilwinning Committee Room and the Three Towns Committee Room will be available to book from January 2026 – please note these rooms can be merged if required (please book both rooms in the usual way)
- A new large meeting room located at the entrance to this floor will be available to book from January 2026
- A new training suite consisting of six small rooms can be merged to form three large rooms. These rooms will be dedicated training rooms, and as such priority for bookings will be for this purpose. However, when not in use for training purposes these rooms may be booked for meetings and will be authorised by the Council Officers where appropriate.
- Please note! The Irvine & Kilwinning and Three Towns Committee rooms plus two of the small training rooms will be earmarked for the Election Team in the run up to the Scottish Parliamentary Election
