On Tuesday 18 November, Waste Awareness Officers will be holding a promo and information stall on single-use plastics in Cunninghame House ground floor foyer over lunchtime.
The event will take place in conjunction with the European Week for Waste Reduction (EWWR) commencing from 22 to 30 November 2025.
The team will have limited supply of the reusable soup mugs to give away and in conjunction with this, the Catering team has approved the staff café providing a new discount on soup where people bring their own container.
This will be ongoing from Tuesday 18 November and will also apply to meal combos with the soup to encourage less internal waste and for staff to think about reuse options over takeaway packaging.
Please note: there is already a discount on hot drinks where you provide your own mug.
So drop along to get some practical advice from the team! Let’s be plastic smart and reduce single-use! #SustainableNA
