The redesign of the NAC website means that some webpages of content now have new URLs.
A URL (Uniform Resource Locator) or web address, is a unique identifier used to locate a resource on the internet. A quick way for online consumers of content to link to other online sources of information.
IT Services is reminding colleagues across the council to check any instances where a URL starting www.north-ayrshire.gov.uk has been used as a link from another website or app, or within a document, form, or marketing materials and templates for letters and emails that remain in use.
Double check that the link is still active. If the link is broken, the viewer will be taken to an error message page. This can cause disappointment and frustration for the user.

Colleagues are urged to review links to ensure they continue to function and are relevant. Remove or replace any broken links as a priority.
New links can be copied from the browser once you have navigated to the appropriate webpage.
Document owners should provide original source documents when requesting a document update for Connects or the NAC website.
