North Ayrshire Staff Association (NASA) has pulled out all the stops to bring some fun and cheer to members again this year.
The countdown to Christmas is on (yes we said it…) so if you don’t want to miss out on the festivities, make sure to book tickets now as the dates between now and then are booking up fast…
Mark Wilson, NASA Chairperson said: “Thank you to everyone who has booked tickets for NASA events so far this year.
“The NASA Committee can’t wait to welcome members and their guests on what is sure to be a busy last few months of the year.
“I am personally looking forward to welcoming back The Re-Claimers which is always a fantastic night, and also to seeing the much acclaimed duet Jubilee on their first visit to the NASA Club.
“Again, we take a great deal of pride in the NASA Xmas Bash which offers a fantastic value Christmas Night for our members. We are also excited to have secured all our acts and entertainment for 2025, and can’t wait to share the news on these in the near future, with some ‘not to be missed’ nights ahead.

NASA Events for 2024 (All taking place at The NASA Club, Littlestane Hall unless stated)
Autumnal events!
- Sat 21 Sep: Races Open Day (including Ayr Gold Cup). Take part in our ‘Pot of Gold’ sweepstakes. Free entry to the Club on the day. Guests welcome;
- Sat 5 Oct: The Re-Claimers (the No.1 Tribute Band to all Scottish acts). Tickets £7 members/£10 guests;
- Sat 26 Oct: Baldy’s Halloween Bonkers Bingo. A great night of fun, entertainment and music. Tickets £7 members/£10 guests;
Make the end of the year one to remember!
- Sat 23 Nov: Jubilee (the much in demand top Scottish duet). Tickets £8 members/£12 guests;
- Sat 7 Dec: Festive Edinburgh Trip. Leaves Irvine 10am, leaves Edinburgh 9pm. Tickets £14 members/£18 guests;
- Sat 14 Dec: NASA Kids Christmas Party, feat Alpacas, DJ, Santa’s Grotto, Party Games, food and drinks for the kids, and a gift from Santa. Tickets £6 per child (members families only);
- Sat 21 Dec: NASA Xmas Bash, Volunteer Rooms. The best value party night around at only £15 (incl quality buffet & top DJ). Members only. Tickets on sale mid September;
- Tue 31 Dec: NASA Hogmanay (feat. top live band ‘The Previously Unheard’). Bring in the New Year with a fantastic family friendly night. Tickets £8 members/£12 guests/£5 (under 18’s).

About NASA
Currently there are 1,425 members who are all North Ayrshire Council employees, with associate memberships also available to retired employees/partnership.
Membership entitles you to attend any of the NASA events and entry into the NASA monthly prize draw which gives lucky members the chance to win £250, £100, £50 or £25 each and every month.
Running since April 1998, NASA is in it’s 27th year, and is run on a voluntary basis by a Committee consisting of Office Bearers and Staff Representatives.
The group organise a number of social and sporting events throughout the year for the benefit of its members and local charities.
