In light of the Omicron variant and the need to accelerate update of the Covid-19 booster vaccine, we are reminding staff of the importance of protecting yourself by getting the Covid-19 vaccine booster and flu vaccine (if eligble) This is the best way to protect yourself and others this winter.
Over 40s have been added to the group of those eligible to book their booster appointment online and as of today (Monday) all 30-39 year olds will be able to book their appointment for a COVID-19 vaccine booster through the NHS Inform website from 10am today. More info here.
The online portal will be extended to enable 18-29 year olds to book booster vaccinations later this week.
Please note that you are now eligible to get the Covid-19 booster dose 3 months (12 weeks) after your second dose. For more information about who is currently able to book a Covid-19 booster online, click here.
NHS Ayrshire and Arran also continues to hold Covid-19 vaccination drop-in sessions for first and second doses of the Covid-19 vaccine in North, East and South Ayrshire. Drop-ins will run from 8.30am to 5.30pm and locations of the vaccination centres can be found here.
