Did you know that service users can share their personal experiences of registered adult health and care services in North Ayrshire online?
North Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership is partnered with Care Opinion, an independent website where users of our services can submit their views and experiences online completely anonymously, as well as reading reviews posted by others.
These stories can be either positive or negative, with NAHSCP committed to replying publicly via the site to address feedback and keep reviewers up to date with any changes that may be implemented in response to their concerns.
Feedback will help NAHSCP to understand what is working well, learn where improvements may be needed, and will be taken into account when developing future services.
All NAHSCP employees have a role to play in promoting Care Opinion, particularly those working directly with service users. It is important that we are able to raise awareness about Care Opinion among service users and the general public in North Ayrshire.
We are working towards promoting Care Opinion to the public in a number of ways, however the most effective way for us to reach our service users is through our customer-facing staff.
If you are a staff member working with families, individuals and carers, please make them aware where possible that they are able to leave anonymous feedback and stories about our services, whether positive or negative, online at https://www.careopinion.org.uk/tellyourstory
In addition, we currently have some print materials in Cunninghame House that can be used by public-facing staff or offices in order to assist with the promotion of Care Opinion, including posters, postcards, small cards that can easily fit in a wallet or pocket, and freepost forms for anyone without online access.
If you or your team can help with the distribution of these materials to service users, or if you have offices where materials could be displayed for the public, please contact nicolateager@north-ayrshire.gov.uk to arrange collection from Cunninghame House.
Alternatively, the team may be able to post some items out to you – or in some cases arrange for staff to drop these off.
