Child Disability Payment information event

Child Disability Payment is designed to provide extra money to help with the costs of caring for a child with a disability or health condition. It replaces Disability Living Allowance for Children, which is currently delivered by the Department for Work and Pensions.

The payment launches nationally on Monday 22 November and Social Security Scotland wants to ensure stakeholders have access to all of the available information about Child Disability Payment before it opens for applications.

Social Security Scotland is hosting an event for national and local stakeholders online via MS Teams on Tuesday 16 November from 1pm to 3pm. The event will provide information on all aspects of Child Disability Payment, including the new policies and systems that will be in place for the national launch.
