This year’s ‘NASA Gordon Craig Memorial Golf Day’ was another huge success – as friends and former colleagues took to the fairways to remember a truly great guy.
Taking place at Ravenspark, Irvine, on 10 May, the annual Golf Day – a tribute to Gordon, former Chairperson and one of the original founders of NASA, who sadly passed away in 2019 – featured 19 former friends and colleagues.
The day started off with the 7-hole shoot-out which was a closely contested affair, with the event being settled on handicap after 4 of the 5 teams completed the 7 holes in 28 shots.
In the end, the final scores were:
Position | Net Score | Team |
1st | 16.55 > | John Scott, Graeme Robin, Gavin Alcroft, Stewart Frew |
2nd | 18.40 > | Robert Robb, Steven Ferguson, Malcolm Craig |
3rd | 18.60 > | Greg Brown, David Stirling, James Gaffney |
4th | 18.90 > | Gareth Picken, Colin Alcroft, Thom Ledingham, Andrew Hale |
5th | 20.90 > | Craig Haining, Iain Hartridge, Russell Quin, Jim Miller |
