Every record has a shelf life

The Records Management Unit is currently preparing for the annual destruction of records held at the unit.

This happens when records have reached the end of their retention period and are required to be securely destroyed in compliance with both Data Protection and Records Management legislation.

If your team are undertaking/planning a spring clean of records and intend on sending them to the unit, you must liaise with the Records Management Unit first to ensure there is both space and resource to accommodate your files.
