As part of the council’s ongoing commitment to improving Absence, HR have run further Absence Management Training designed to take managing absence back to basics and help Line Managers to manage employee absences effectively. The last session takes place this week…

The final session of a four-part series, the training delivered has provided essential guidance and clarity on the role of Line Managers in absence management, with a focus on practical solutions to reduce absence and ensure compliance with company policies. Thank you to everyone who took the time to come along.

How to make a Good OH Referral – final session of this training block

Tuesday 21 October (book online now) 11am until Noon: The last training session will be delivered by PAM Occupational Health. This session will provide support to line managers to ensure that employees get the best support possible from Occupational Health.  The session will provide some examples of what you can ask of the Occupational Health Adviser, to ensure that the report and supports are useful and relevant.

This “How To” Session is a refresher for Line Managers on absence management. Attendance to these sessions should not replace your attendance to the Wellbeing@Work Course.
