Free tickets for World Wheelchair Curling Championships

The World Wheelchair Curling Championships and World Wheelchair Mixed Doubles Curling Championships will be held at Auchenharvie Leisure Centre from March 1 to 8 and colleagues are invited to show their support.

Tickets are FREE for the World Wheelchair Curling Championships and World Wheelchair Mixed Doubles Curling Championships which are being held in North Ayrshire for the first time.

Held at Auchenharvie Leisure Centre from 1 to 16 March, this is a brilliant opportunity to show your support and see the action up close in one of K:A Leisure’s popular local venues.

The Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Edward, will visit Auchenharvie on Wednesday 5 March to catch some of the action. Beforehand, he will also visit Stevenston’s Doon the Beach Hub to meet the volunteers working at the community café.

Vincent Bryson, CEO of Scottish Curling shares: “We’re absolutely delighted to be bringing this event to North Ayrshire for the very first time and know that we’ll be able to create a world-class event with a warm welcome on the beautiful west coast of Scotland.

“The global curling community will have the chance to experience our hospitality and a warm welcome from the west of Scotland.”

The World Wheelchair Curling Championship 2025 will feature 12 teams who have qualified from the previous year’s championship or through the World Wheelchair-B Curling Championship 2024.

Once the games have concluded, the final qualification points for the Milano Cortina 2026 Paralympic Winter Games will be determined from this championship.
