Get your IT jobs over the finish line

With the Web and Digital Experience team being an integral part of the council’s services, it is important any requests are logged correctly, and with consideration for Service Level Agreements (SLAs). This is to minimise any delays in fulfilling your requests.

There are ways you can help us to achieve this and make the process as efficient as possible:

  • log any request via the Hornbill IT Portal, not our shared mailbox as this could be missed and will cause further delays
  • ensure any documents you are providing are shared with our team (we recently shared a reminder of how to share documents)
  • time it right – we have SLAs in place which you should take into consideration before submitting your request (please refer to our timescales on our Website and intranet (Connects) updates page)
  • provide as much detail as possible, for example what website you are wishing to update, what section of the website this is in (remember to link to the new NAC website) and if any documents are required
  • checking all documents for accessibility and any content for readability

Doing all of this helps us to help you! We are available to provide support when needed and following the above guidance makes this a smoother experience for all.
