Charity Guide Dogs Scotland is inviting Ayrshire families who are supporting a child aged 0-4 with sight loss to join free play sessions.
‘My Time to Play’ helps children with a vision impairment learn important developmental skills in a fun and supportive group setting. There will be seven sessions led by experts on children with sight loss. This free service also benefits parents, enabling them to meet other parents in a similar situation. Siblings are also welcome to attend and join in the fun.
The sessions will start in February, running on Tuesday mornings in Ayr, although these sessions are also open to families from further afield. To apply for a place, call 0800 781 1444 or email children@guidedogs.org.uk, you can also find out more about ‘My Time to Play’ on the Guide Dogs website.
