Do you use an electric vehicle or live somewhere with limited charging access?

East, South and North Ayrshire Council are working together to future proof our electric (EV) charging network.

The three Ayrshire’s has secured funding to install 307 new EV charging points, but the Engagement team need your help to get it right.

Upon completion of the survey, the team will be able to better understand the needs of residents the people who live, work and visit Ayrshire so that future public electric charging infrastructure can be planned to meet their needs.

East, North and South Ayrshire Council are working in partnership to deliver the Electric Vehicle (EV) infrastructure needed to support future uptake of EVs across Ayrshire.

Supported by Scottish Future’s Trust and Transport Scotland, the local authorities aim to provide a just transition to EV uptake.

The project has been awarded £2.8million through Transport Scotland’s Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Fund for the installation of approximately 307 EV charge points across 270 locations via a Concession Contract.
