Digital Transformation Workstream – Upgrade of Integra to Centros V25 November 2025
As part of our Digital Transformation workstream which commenced in October 2024, the Transformation team have been working to provide oversight of digital activity and digital transformation work across the council. This work is being reported and monitored through the Transformation Board.
One of the aims of the workstream is to highlight digital opportunities and projects which will deliver maximum efficiencies and financial savings.
As part of this transformation work which will coincide with the current ‘purchase to pay’ service review our Financial Management system Integra will be upgraded to the newest and latest version of the system called Centros V25.
Many other local authorities who use Integra have already migrated to Centros and the Transformation team have engaged with other Councils to gain their feedback on the system and have been working collaboratively with our supplier IBSS to plan our upgrade.
What has happened so far…
A project team has been established and are now working with the Transformation team to deliver this project. The upgrade process has commenced with our Integra Test environment being upgraded to Centros V25 which is the latest version of the system in mid-July.
User acceptance testing will be taking place over August, September and October before the planned upgrade of our live system in early November with the go live planned for Monday the 10 November 2025.
If I’m an Integra user, what do I need to do?
Integra Centros version 25 has 126 new features and many programme enhancements. To provide you with information on what this new functionality is and how you can start to use this, training sessions will be running from Monday 1 September until Tuesday 30 September 2025.
Two training sessions per day will be on offer, in the morning and afternoon. All current users of Integra will receive a personal email invitation to book onto the training sessions from Monday 11 August 2025.
Mop up training sessions will then be available from Wednesday 1 October until Friday 10 October 2025, to accommodate any users who are unable to attend the main training sessions during September.
Mark Boyd, Head of Finance is welcoming the Centros upgrade and urging colleagues to get upskilled via the training. He shares: “The upgraded version of Integra will bring an improved user journey and incorporates new functionality.
“The project team are working collaboratively with our supplier to ensure the successful transition to this latest version of Centros. All current Integra users are encouraged to book onto the Centros Training as soon as they receive their email to ensure they are able to book an appropriate slot on the date and time of their choosing.”
