As a recruiting manager or someone who completes role profiles on behalf of the service, please familiarise yourself with the new look templates and the updated Role Profile Hints and Tips found on Connects.
So what do you need to do differently from now on:
- When creating a new role profile, the information must be typed on the new template and not copied and pasted from a previous version. Where a table appears in the role profile, please use the Tab button to manoeuvre to where you are required to type. This will maintain the information in a sequential order allowing the ‘read aloud’ function to be utilised.
- Where you are required to add new role specific tasks and responsibilities or additional essential/desirable criteria in the same box within a table then the Enter button will allow you to move to the next bullet point.
Where we receive role profiles which have been created/updated using incorrect templates, these will be returned to the Service for re-submission. Over a period of time, all existing role profiles currently on the bank on Connects will be converted to the new templates and you will be able to identify these by “Accessible Version” in the title, however in the meantime, if you require to utilise a role profile which is still in the previous format, your service will need to re-type this.
