Are you or your team considering a new initiative, system, contract, or service?
If so, it is crucial to ensure that all steps have been taken to mitigate risks with personal information, business sensitive data and system assets.
This can be done by completing the new Information Governance & Cyber Approval Request form on Hornbill.
The new process has been created to inform staff on the appropriate documentation required to ensure compliance with Information Governance and Cyber Security standards.
This form must be submitted and approved before proceeding with the initiative, irrespective if this is being done through a formal procurement process or not and applies to all initiatives irrespective of value.
This can be found via the Information Governance webpage on Hornbill and selecting ‘Request a Service.’
More information regarding on the new process can be found via the Information Governance Procurement Framework (IGPF).
