During August 2021, following extensive consultation with employees, managers and Trade Union colleagues, North Ayrshire Council has launched a new HR Guide: Workstyles.
There are four agreed Workstyles:
- In Building
- Mobile
- Agile
- Home
Workstyles is part of the Council’s commitment to supporting a flexible and skilled workforce.
By introducing more flexibility around how and where employees carry out their work, Workstyles aims to encourage productivity and maximise performance as we embrace the changes that have evolved around the ways we have been working over the last 18 months.
Our Sharepoint page “Workstyles, Work Life Balance and Flexible Working” is testament to our commitment to recognising the benefits of offering flexibility around how and where employees carry out their work, enabling them to maximise their productivity and performance, and supporting a healthy work life balance.
The site includes lots of useful information for all employees and managers, for example, Work Life Balance Policy, Frequently Asked Questions and a short animation video about our Workstyles (you can also view this below.)
HR have also recently added a new Knowledge Nugget – Managers Guide to Agile Working to the Sharepoint site, which all managers are recommended to read.
