Do you live in North Ayrshire and care for a child or young person with a diagnosed or suspected neurodevelopmental difference (NDD)?

NEST is running a series of events that will provide an opportunity to join us and learn more about a recent report that was developed following engagement sessions with parents and carers regarding NDD support earlier this year.

They will also offer a chance to hear more about the work being undertaken across North Ayrshire and provide further feedback.

The events are open to members of the public, as well as those who attended our previous engagement sessions. Each session will last 2 hours and refreshments will be provided.

  • Monday 25 November: Bridgend Community Centre, Kilbirnie – 1.30pm to 3.30pm
  • Monday 2 December: Saltcoats Town Hall – 1.30pm to 3.30pm
  • Tuesday 3 December: Largs Memorial Church Hall – 1.30pm to 3.30pm
  • Thursday 5 December: Fullarton ConneXions, Irvine – 1.30pm to 3.30pm
  • Monday 9 December: Online via Microsoft Teams – 6pm to 7pm

The events are open to members of the public, as well as those who attended our previous engagement sessions. Please note that the session previously planned for Brodick Town Hall, Arran, on Thursday 28 November has been cancelled due to a lack of numbers, and Arran residents who wish to take part are encouraged to join the online event.

You can book your place for in-person events via the NEST website. This will open a booking link for the Kilbirnie event, however if you click on ‘Select Different Date’ you can also book for the events in Saltcoats, Largs and Irvine. Places for the MS Teams event can also be booked online.
