New cyber security webinar

On Tuesday the 1st of April at 2pm the Cyber Security Team will be presenting an all-new cyber awareness webinar available to all staff.

Even if you have attended any of the previous sessions,, the team would encourage you to sign up for this all-new session for 2025.

In the first half of the session the team will give an insight into the highly sophisticated operations of a cyber-crime gang, showing the surprising similarities between these criminal groups and legitimate organisations.

The team will then take a look at how login details are stored and cracked, showing the importance of choosing strong passwords. Lastly, the session will look at the vital role of multi-factor authentication and the benefits of modern methods over traditional text message based MFA.

The session will round off with some quick cyber security top tips and there will also be time for any of your burning cyber security questions.

The session will take place on Teams – the team look forward to seeing you there.

Sign in on Teams from 1pm on Tuesday or register now via the Events Booking page on Connects.
