New iLearn module Digital Accessibility Awareness

Digital accessibility is key to our Council Plan and Digital Strategy. To raise awareness of our responsibilities when sharing online content, IT Services has developed a new iLearn module.

On completion of the new iLearn module, learners should be able to:

  • demonstrate awareness of digital accessibility
  • understand how people with disabilities may be impacted when accessing digital content
  • recognise the importance of creating digital content that is accessible for all
  • demonstrate awareness of The Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No.2) Accessibility Regulations 2018
  • demonstrate awareness of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines and success criteria
  • advocate for digital accessibility as default

Digital accessibility is everyone’s responsibility. Take some time to login to iLearn and complete this new mandatory module.
