Digital accessibility is key to our Council Plan and Digital Strategy. To raise awareness of our responsibilities when sharing online content, IT Services has developed a new iLearn module.
On completion of the new iLearn module, learners should be able to:
- demonstrate awareness of digital accessibility
- understand how people with disabilities may be impacted when accessing digital content
- recognise the importance of creating digital content that is accessible for all
- demonstrate awareness of The Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No.2) Accessibility Regulations 2018
- demonstrate awareness of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines and success criteria
- advocate for digital accessibility as default
