Currently many of us have Zoom installed on Council devices, however IT have recently updated that we should all now be using Microsoft Teams as the preferred video/audio meeting method.
As most of us will only use the Zoom App on an Ad Hoc basis and the Council’s infrastructure is built round the Microsoft 365 environment, the Zoom app will be removed from all devices as of Monday 13 February.
IT do however understand that some third parties only accommodate Zoom and in these instances the browser version of Zoom should be utilised. If you feel that you require this app as it would impact you if removed please contact the Service Desk on 01294 324290 or raise a request in the IT Portal.
