Saddle up for the bike maintenance roadshow tour

Are you having a ‘wheelie’ good time on your bike this summer? Do you want to get up to speed on all things bike maintenance before the Autumn and Winter months?

If so, our Trinity Active Travel team will be saddling up from this week to roll into a town near you.

Great to give your bike a health check, it is also the perfect chance to learn more about the accessible cycle routes and cycling sessions that the team has to offer. The main purpose of the roadshow event is to teach you how to look after your bike and do minor repairs on the go.

Whatever type of bike you have, the team will be on-hand to give advice on how to keep it in working order.

From those who are just starting out to experienced riders, the Bike Maintenance Roadshow is offering seven bike maintenance sessions between now and the end of September.

Spaces are limited, please book via email at: thetrinity@north-ayrshire.gov.uk or  01294 204800 (Wednesday 10am-4pm and Thursday/Friday 1pm-4pm) or drop the team a DM on Facebook at: https://www.facebook.com/TrinityActiveTravelHub

The Trinity’s qualified instructor Robert said: “We are excited to be providing classes across North Ayrshire once again to help local cyclists to make the most of time spent outdoors on the saddle.

“A well-maintained bike will keep you safe, save you money, and ensure smooth riding…
