The Council’s Web and Digital Experience Team are on the lookout for Accessibility Champions who can help to drive our push for digital accessibility.
As an Accessibility Champion, you will receive special training, resources and software to help identify accessibility issues. You will share your knowledge and best practice, empowering colleagues within your team/service to create accessible content. Acting as a mentor, you encourage your peers to consider accessibility from the start and seek to develop your understanding of issues and solutions.
We’re interested in receiving applications anyone who has an interest in accessibility or is already involved in producing content for Council website or intranet.
