Sadly, an estimated one-in-four pregnancies can end in miscarriage. North Ayrshire Council has signed up to the Pregnancy Loss Pledge, which demonstrates a commitment to providing the best support we can to any employee experiencing pregnancy loss.

Promoted by The Miscarriage Association, Baby Loss Awareness Week – always held in October – is now in its 20th year.
The Council, alongside more than 100 other charities as well as various groups and organisations, are continuing to do our part to raise awareness of key issues that affect people who have lost a baby.
