North Ayrshire Council has announced the launch of our new Council website.
Launched on Monday, 16 September, the site has been redesigned with several new features to improve user experience and make it easier and faster to access Council services.
Some of the key improvements include:
- Enhanced Search: A new autofill feature and improved search capabilities help find content, documents, and news faster.
- Simplified Portals: New bin and pay portals make checking collection days and making payments easier.
- News and Events: Styled news articles, social sharing options, and a community events calendar to keep you informed and engaged.
- Responsive Design: Optimised for mobile devices, with icons and a streamlined menu for quicker navigation.
To coincide with the launch, a series of one-hour information sessions will be held across North Ayrshire Libraries* to allow people to get a hands-on look at the new features and see the benefits of the improved site in action.
The new website has been redesigned by the Council’s IT Services team based on invaluable feedback from our residents and colleagues.

“The redevelopment of the website is a key priority of our Council Plan to become a more accessible and sustainable Council.
“Now that the website is live, we are confident that the new website will make for a more intuitive and streamlined customer journey.
“The optimised Latest News section and inclusion of a community events calendar will also be important components to helps us to better connect our communities and keep everyone up-to-date.
