Warning to all staff: Heightened Cyber Security Threat!

An important update for all staff: NHS Dumfries and Galloway have fallen victim of a “focused and ongoing” cyber attack, it is likely that the attackers have been able to acquire a “significant” quantity of data. The attack is causing some disruption to their services.

Please be vigilant to any potential misuse of stolen data, or unusual communications from NHS Dumfries and Galloway. The threat is current and ongoing.

Remember, we should all be extremely cautious of clicking, opening or downloading any links or attachments in email, consider if the email is expected and verify the sender is who they claim to be. If in doubt, do not interact with the message.
