New AI tool to support with HR questions

Meet EVA – Your New HR Virtual Assistant!
People Services are pleased to introduce EVA, a new Employee Virtual Assistant. EVA is an AI‑powered chatbot designed to help you quickly find answers to everyday HR questions, including topics such as sickness absence, maternity, and other areas covered by our HR policies and guidance.
EVA is now live across the council and ready to support you 24/7, at a time that suits you. EVA searches North Ayrshire Council HR policies and procedures only, ensuring the information you receive is accurate and relevant to your work with the Council.
You can access EVA directly within Microsoft Teams by clicking this link clicking this EVA link and adding the EVA app to your Teams menu bar. Once added, you can get help whenever you need it by asking questions in plain, natural language.
This is part of the Council’s co-pilot trial programme. Therefore, you are encouraged to use EVA and provide feedback.
You can provide feedback using the link to the feedback form which is provided with every EVA response.
EVA is intended to support routine HR queries and complement the existing HR service. Your HR colleagues continue to remain available to help with more complex or sensitive matters.
