Recruitment support available for managers

Recruitment managers are invited join a short two-part series of 'How to Recruit' sessions designed to support you at key stages of the recruitment process.

These practical sessions will guide you through the key stages of the recruitment process, share best practice tips and provide the opportunity to ask questions through the chat function.

These sessions are a repeat of those delivered earlier this year, although the content has now been condensed into two sessions, with the previous interviews and preferred candidates sessions combined into Part 2. Colleagues who attended the earlier sessions do not need to attend again; however, anyone who would like a refresher is very welcome to join.

Part 1 – Preparing to Recruit: Tuesday 20th October | 10:00am – 11:00am

Getting recruitment right from the start by planning your recruitment, understanding manager responsibilities and preparing your advert. Click here to book this session.

Part 2 – Interviews & Preferred Candidates: Tuesday 27th October | 10:00am – 11:00am

This session will cover scheduling interviews and issuing correspondence through the Talentlink system, as well as the key documentation required throughout the interview process.

We will then focus on the steps following the interview stage, including selecting preferred candidates, updating Talentlink, completing the necessary documentation and managing appointments for internal candidates. Click here to book this session.

You are welcome to attend individual sessions; however, we recommend booking onto both sessions where possible, as they complement one another and together provide a complete overview of the end-to-end recruitment process. Attending both sessions will help ensure a consistent, confident and effective approach to recruitment at every stage.

The series is particularly valuable for managers who are new to recruitment, as well as those looking for a refresher on the recruitment process.
