North Ayrshire Council is holding a workshop to encourage women in North Ayrshire to get more involved in local democracy.

Whether you’re up for making a change in your local community or you want to put yourself forward to be a councillor, come along and find out more about how to get involved.

This workshop will be of particular interest for women considering standing in the Scottish Local Government Elections on Thursday 6 May 2027 .

There’ll be a warm welcome and a room of other local women who share a passion for our community.

You’ll hear from women in elected office in North Ayrshire Council and will be inspired to think about what difference you want to make.

Come together with the women in your community to lead the change in politics.
